What kind of tattoos do you guys have and why? How do they relate to you as a person or you as an empath?

I personally would like to get a tattoo relating to my empathy and who I am as a person and I'm not quite sure what that would be so I'm looking for ideas.

I currently have a tattoo that says "Eternity" and another that says "Love" I currently do not have any pictures to show off because I haven't put my harddrive back in yet haha.

hello , I have a rose tattoo. To me it represents being fragile .. a rose can be crushed in a hand and then gone for ever.
Kind of similar to people and their fears and vulnorablitys .. Everyone is like a rose you know ... Thank You, DH

I had thought that I might like a tattoo, but thinking about what to get, I decided not to get one at all. For me, not having one is what represents who I am. Everyone has a tattoo. Not a day goes by when I don't see people with tattoos. But I'm not like the rest of them, I'm different. And I'm proud of being different. So having no tattoo is what expresses who I am the best :)

If I was to ever change my mind, I would decide on a moon with icicles hanging off of it. The moon represents that I'm a dreamer, and that I see best with my eyes closed (this relates to my gift), and the ice represents "frozen in time" - perfect for someone who hates change, like me (this relates to who I am as a person). I think you need to think up a symbol that really means a lot to you to have as a tattoo :)

I have two tattoos :) . One on my forearm, a star rising from the sea surrounded by rocks. Waves on the sides, back of the forearm and elbow and the star, rocks and more waves on the front. It represents the 4 elements.
I love water, it's fluid, soothing and it's a metaphor of life, the star surrounded by rocks is the spirit rising from the material part.
The other one is on my thigh. A phoenix and cherry blossoms. It reminds me I can get up no matter how hard I'm kicked in the butt.
I'm thinking to get another one, a key on my wrist because it is the firs word I ever spoke.

I hope this works...

It was only a day old, when this picture was taken. The Yang will be made on my right wrist in 6 months, when my kids father is back from Afghanistan. I would have had it made anyway, but it just feels right to wait with the other half, especially because of the loss my kids are feeling for the next period of time. I've been wearing taoistic symbols for many years as a necklace, and so finally I decided to have it tattooed.

I have a chinese symbol placed below the navel, that I had made 10 years ago (damn I feel old now!), not related to the empathy either.

Dragonfly
I follow Natiove American traditions the power of Dragonfly lies in its ability to see around things by looking from different angles. Using its ability to transform colors and lights by reflecting and refracting them, Dragonfly shows us that life, like light, can bend, shift, and adapt in various ways, making life's appearance never be what it appears to be. Dragonfly's magic shows us to see through life's illusions and find our true vision. It calls us to transform within our lives and reminds us to feel deeply so we will have the compassion necessary to help ourselves and others

I have a rose on my chest that I got when i was 15. Didn't think i would be allowed to get one, didn't really think at the time what i wanted. I was thinking about changing it.
I have a beast on my thigh. It resembles the shape of a tiger but thicker and no stripes. My sister and I have the same one. just a link of how inseperable we were.
The next on will be an ambigram one. not too sure on the specifics yet. I am on alot of blood thinners so i have to wait.

I have an angel on my arm and shoulder. His wings are ripped and broken and he he is huntched over a beautiful rose. It is all black accept for the red rose and a long red scarf. It warpas around my arm. To me it symbolizes me being able to take the pain and protect that which is most beautiful and perfect to me. Ill add a picture if I can ever get this camera to work.
