Opposites

I'm just wondering if anyone else experiences this. If I try to figure out what someone looks like without seeing a picture, it's almost always the exact opposite. Blondes look like brunettes, tall people look short, big look small, etc. But, the strange this is that this happens like 95% of the time, which statistically is just as unlikely as seeing accurate things. Like, when they do tests for psychic ability, if the typical score is 50% for a non-psychic, then scoring 25% is just as significant as scoring 75%. I always get male & female mixed up too unless I know. There's other stuff too that I almost always see opposite. Does anyone else have this problem?

I get this alot! I tried remote viewing tests, and I think of something thats a turtle...it came out as a baby, WHAT THE HECK MAN D; lol But yea, I get that problem alot

I have read about that . The Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner ( very wordy, but extremely interesting), wrote that on the spiritual level everything is oposite. He was clairvoyant and that is the way he saw it. So as our bodies get older , our souls get younger, etc. :)
I think it was in his book Theosophy, maybe Occult Science.

Yes, the law of duality and opposites. I read the esoteric writings of theosophy yeeeeears ago. LOVED those books. Fascinated by the theory *what you see on the outside is opposite on the inside*. I'm just going to have to dig those old books out of the garage!!

Yes, I had such a crystal clear vision of a beautiful smiling black woman while reading someone online years ago. I saw this woman so clearly every time I closed my eyes that I was shocked when she said she was not a black woman. But she seemed to know who I was describing. so maybe when we look into someone's energy field we can see into their surrounding field of loved ones and friends who are close to them. Just a thought. Keep up the good work and interesting questions.

I once met a woman and every time I saw her I saw an knight in armour on a horse. One day I told her and she said she keeps having flash backs of being a man in the middle ages. So maybe sometimes we realy see things , pictures, that are very active in their souls at the time, sometimes even on an unconscious level. Of course that opens up a can of worms. Then a creative person could explain anything into a reading.
(I am seeing a can of worms...do you fish? You say you hate fish? Exactly!! The hatred of fish is worming its way through the earth of your feelings. ........You never even think about fish? Yes, I KNOW, the worm is an image of the unconscious feelings. They crawl in darkness under ground! The can is your resistance to believing in them...umm. Yeah.)
Seriously, though, there also is the dream alegory level we pick up on at times.

Wow! I never dreamed there would be something so... deep... to this!! I will definitely check that out. Roxy & Deirdre, both your experiences with the images reminds me of how I started doing past life readings!! I would get a flash of an image, and then I'd focus on it and just 'follow' it, flesh out the details.

I personally view it as a wonderful thing to get wrong. Basically meaning, to me it appears it really matters not to you, what physicality the person has. Maybe I'm wrong, but maybe I'm reading into this accurately, and if so, consider yourself a wonderful person :)
