What is an Empath Reading
The readings offered here are Empath readings, not psychic readings. I know it can be confusing but only a very small minority of Empath can read future probabilities of events (i.e. being psychic). I know I can't do that to save my life!
During an Empath Reading, you are asking someone to tune into you and reflect what they see. It's a mirror of the soul.
NOTE: Like all things in life, some mirrors are "clearer" than others and each mirror might reflect from a different vantage point. But it's all coming from a place of love and desire to help. Take the best and leave the rest :)
How Empath Readings Can Help
We are often not consciously aware of our own emotions. In fact, we are socialized at an early age to deny, suppress and ignore our feelings! So it's only natural that most of us start chipping away at our "emotional integrity" as kids and keep doing it as adults.
And yet, emotions tell us about what is going on "deep within" and are a direct link to our own soul (for a more in dept discussion about the importance of emotions, read this article about emotions and intuition).
When we ignore our emotions, we are ignoring part of our selves which is a one way ticket towards depression, anger and all kinds of "stagnant energy". The worse thing is, we don't even realize that we feel this way so we can't possibly do anything about it! We become powerless in our own lives.
An Empath Reading can offer insights about the emotional inner working taking place within us that might be contributing to the struggle we are experiencing...The simple act of seeing ourselves as we are right now through someone else's eyes can be VERY healing in itself.
Also, Empath Readings are like mirrors in the sense that if we have a smudge on our forehead, we cannot see it until we look at our reflection! Someone else can be that mirror and notice a "spot" that we can't see for ourselves. At this point, we CAN do something about it and are now empowered in our own life again!
Finally, difficult situations can become a lot more livable just by changing your "inner landscape", so that we can be more at peace while we wait for the good stuff ;) Empaths can often feel, intuitively, what would help move forward, once the "emotional knot" has been located.
