I can't help but feel such mixed emotions about the first passage of Healthcare Reform for America. Make no mistake I'm 100% for it. In fact wish it was Universal straight across the board. But my extended dream includes integrated medicine that recognizes and respects people who just happen to have *extra sensory* abilities (and the corresponding anxiety) so that we too can get the honest healthcare we deserve.

Why does it have to be one way...linear vision? Seriously, if you even suggest to your doctor that you have psychic episodes they'll stamp you mucho loco and get the net.

When will medicine catch up with the rest of us who *know*?

Roxy,
I'm not American but I totally agree with you on this. How correct you are about telling your doctor, grabbing the net is exactly what they do!
I too, long to see the integration of medicine that respects all. Maybe all we can do is open peoples eyes one person at a time. Change comes, albeit slow.
Slow and steady... in the end the turtle won the race!
Much love to you,
Lynn (in agreement)

Ah, yes, Lynn. What a wonderful world it will be when we can all get the help we need. I truly believe that most of the mental illness in my family has it's roots in misdiagnosis of empathic/intuitive abilities. Doesn't matter anymore,though...the scales have tipped too far off the grid, and now they are extremely resistant to hope/change. After awhile depression can become a very bad habit. I tried so hard to help them when it was possible, but now just being around them can feel like a machete down the middle of my head. They have reached truly toxic levels. It breaks my heart, but I've learned to accept my limitations. And right now I need to focus on my little sister(recovering from cancer) who truly wants to live. She is such a beautiful person.
I truly believe there will be a time when medicine catches up with truth. I'm just not sure it will be in my lifetime.
Lately I have been gathering resources because I'm learning that there are integrated medical professionals out there who believe in this *new dimension of thought affecting illness*, unfortunately no health insurance would cover such treatment.
So let's send out our energy into the universe for positive Healthcare change and Integrated medicine for all.
Like I said, what a wonderful world it would be.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts,
Much respect & love,
Roxy

How correct you are Roxy,
Depression is often misdiagnosed. That seems to be a Universal tendency. It seems our families are similar in that regard. Not much we can do if they don't want to see the truth.
My love and healing prayers for your sister. May she find peace, comfort and love during this healing time.
How wonderful it would be if we could see this change in our life-time. I too, long to see a 'choice' given that is covered by medical insurance. It seems unfair that only those who have the money can at least explore options out there. I am excited to hear there are at least a few who believe in 'thought affecting illness,' may more come to see the light.
Much love to you,
Lynn (praying prayers of healing, peace and love for you and yours)

Lynn,
I look forward to getting to know you....keep those prayers coming. I feel wonderful energy from you.
Whisper my sister's name "Mary Lou aka MoonDoll" whenever you see a pink ribbon and send a little prayer out to the universe.
Resist the urge to feel *sad* for us. We are feeling very optimistic at this time....
Thank you, my friend, (I have to run...husband tapping his foot impatiently. He does put up with all my *disractions* so I owe it to him to hurry.
Talk to you soon.

sounds like we need someone like to you rise up and advocate for this type of reform, or to be the one helping other's with psychic abilites. :)

hehehehehehehhe....Angel......I think you know why I'm laughing.

I'll talk to you more about it when I have time. But you clearly do enjoy pulling the covers off of me don't you? LOL. This is all in good fun, because I know that you know that I know why you said that, and I'm glad you knew I would take it in good humor.. hehehehe. See, baby..that's what friends are for.

Yes, I do want to advocate.. This is ABSOLUTELY my area of interest and I will.....exploring best method.(multiple fronts) -- I Already opened conversation with traditional psychiatrist to get to know my enemy. He is text book...so that makes him a *good study* of the resistence I will be facing. I've thought about it for a long time, and I know I will be opening myself up to that *can of worms* Dierdre made reference to in another post. But I'm willing to make that sacrifice. Actually, I embrace the opportunity. Just need a few more weeks/months to settle my personal affairs. I follow the leads the universe sends to me, and right now
since I just moved and my daughters just moved, that has been the necessary focus. But I feel the time of *calm* approaching. All in good time my sweetie...all in good time.

Hugs,
Roxy
