Do your iris' change color when they are stimulated by energy, or when you begin to realize empathic abilities?
While recently in the chat room on this site, a member came to the chat room concerned with the fact that since she began to awaken her spiritual abilities her eyes had been changing color! I personally, never thought that this could be the reason why my eyes change color, it is something that has happened to me all my life and I thought it was normal. They've always just gone from bright blue to gray to green to dark green for no reason. However, while in the chat room several other members revealed that their eyes also began changing color when they began awakening their empathic abilities.
So is it possible that when you become conscious of something more than the norm, and that their are psychic abilities, and spirit guides, and empaths in the world, and most of all that you are an empath, your eyes begin to show a physical indicator of this? Is it possible that just by looking into a person's iris' you can discover if they are empaths?

My eyes have always changed color for as long as i can remember, from a very bright electric blue to a amber gold color. I haven't known that i am an empath for no longer than a few years. So I don't know if this helps or not, but you did say post if your eyes change color! :P

Thank you for posting. My eyes have always changed color too. And I have only known I'm an empath for about a year or so too. But the way I see it I always had psychic tendencies my whole life and just didn't know what it was called. Just posting this because I was wondering if loking back at your life is it much similar? Did you just not know what it was called?

This is really a very interesting question... My eyes change color a lot, and I will pay a little more attention as to their color during "empath moments"... However, the fascinating part of this will be to watch my daughters eyes! She is 13 and showing signs of being empathic. I am going to start paying more attention to her eyes!

Lol you know, it really does just keep getting weirder for me... i had noticed that something with me was going on before i found this site which was why i was in search of it, so to speak, for a couple months. Off and on, thinking to myself, i wish i knew other people like me or i need to find some real info on this stuff. I had always known that i was an empath, since i was very young, but things have been getting more... intense for me lately. About a month before i found this site, i noticed my eyes becoming a deeper blue, more brilliant blue. I kept looking at them in the mirror thinking about it off and on. They're not changing back though... maybe they are, heh, i don't look in the mirror very often. I had also been told many times that my aura is a royal blue. My eyes have always been a lighter blue than what they are now, every now and then having a tent of green in them, but i think it's kinda cool that they're the color of my aura now =)

I'll have to take some pics and see for myself. I think though that this happens with alot of people, more so with the change of emotions than really a spiritual awakening. But i do feel that it's because of my spiritual awakening that they have become this color. I have never seen my eyes this way before.

I don't think it is possible to detect empathy by looking/studying the eyecolor. I hope not!
I have grey eyes, so the change all the time from grey to green to blue, and somewhere in between. So it is very clear changes (and very normal for grey eyes). But in general, every type of eye color does so, it is just not always that obvious. Dark brown can turn almost black but never blue.

Part of it is the surrounding light, part of it is the color of the clothes we wear, even the hair color affects it. And part of it is the emotional state of mind. Not as in "anger creates *this* color", but as in "anger makes the blood work this way, which affects the eye in *this* way".

I have never been sure what colour my eyes are. They vary from bright blue, to grey, to jade green. It might be reflected from what I wear or it could be something spiritual, I hadn't considered that before. I do have a ring of yellow around my pupil though and that has grown as I've gotten older.

I agree every lie has a grain of truth to it, same with myths and urban legends. So there must be some truth to this.

yes! my eyes are now grey blue instead of the normal blue.... you can really see it in pictures.... and when i was little my eyes were rounded with saphire blue with a grey star in the middle.... strange huh?

hmm, good question, but not sure. I have hazel eyes (blue green and grey) that are extremely light. Sometime they are more grre, or more blue or more grey. but haven't noticed if they change while I do readings or not.

Hi Josh. Just thought I'd drop you a little note. My eyes have alway been able to change color. Is a metter of fact. my wife tells me if some one threatens me or the family the outer portions of my eyes turn yellow, if Im content they are blue/grey. It does happen quite often. have been able to do empath stuff sence I was 3 or 4. eys have always changed. Nice topic.
